What is an Inflatable Sewer Gate?

An Inflatable Sewer Gate is a flexible structure, used for water storage control in sewers, retaining wastewater, regulating discharge flow and flushing out the build up of sedimentation in sections of sewers. It is a reliable and cost effective alternative to more conventional mechanical steel gate systems that are often considered as costly, complex to install and lack reliability.

One of the greatest advantages of Inflatable Sewer Gate is that the bladders and ancillary equipment can be easily lowered down standard 3’ to 4’ manholes, allowing access for all bladders except those for the very large dams. No excavations are required for bladders more that 4’ high. Smaller sizes can be assembled above-ground and installed through open excavations.

Applications

Control of storage spaces, the flushing out of sewer sections and storage chambers.
